Let's Agree

A questionnaire for parents and a teenager. Everyone answers on their own, on their own phone: what you'd like to do together, what the house rules are, how to handle school, who is responsible for what, and what is worth talking about. Nobody sees the others' answers until everyone has pressed “Done” — and then you see where you agree and what needs to be settled.

How it works

There is no sign-up: the site knows only the names you enter yourself, the teenager's age and what you have at home. Answers are stored on the server under the questionnaire code and are open only to your family. There can be two parents: they first merge their answers into a joint position, and the teenager sees only that. Each child has their own questionnaire. In “What to talk about”, the other person's answer is visible only where both are ready to talk: someone's “no” is never revealed. There is no dating, no chat and no strangers here.

About the service

What's new

What it is

“Let's Agree” is a questionnaire for parents and a teenager. It helps you calmly agree on life at home: what to do together, what the rules are, how to handle school, who is responsible for what and what is worth talking about.

How it works

  1. One of you creates the questionnaire and sends the other a code, a link or a QR code.
  2. Everyone answers on their own, on their own phone: “yes”, “maybe” or “no”. Until everyone has pressed “Done”, nobody sees anyone else's answers — so nobody adjusts to the other.
  3. Then “Matches” opens: where you agree, what can be discussed and where you differ.
  4. An item marked by both sides goes into the shared “Agreed” list.

Discussion

At the top of “Matches” there is one topic a day. You can change your answer right there, note what you decided and mark it “Discussed”. If someone's “no” is hard to accept, you can ask once to reconsider it.

Plans

From the activities both of you want, a plan is put together: what, when and what to prepare. Afterwards mark how it went: “do it again” or “not for us”.

Two parents and several children

There can be two parents in a questionnaire. Each answers on their own, then they merge the answers into a joint position — and the teenager sees only that. Each child has their own questionnaire, and children don't see each other's.

What to talk about

A section for topics that are hard to start. Here the other person's answer is visible only where both are ready to talk. Nobody ever learns someone else's “no”.

Telegram

If you like, you can connect a bot: it tells you what is happening in the questionnaire, reminds you about plans and reminds the teenager about the duties you agreed on. From its messages the questionnaire opens right in Telegram.
